Art Deco Weekend Miami Beach is held on Ocean Drive is a very popular weekend in South Beach. The event started back in 1976 when the Miami Design preservation league founded the festival and it has been going strong ever since attracting thousands of locals and tourist. Ocean Drive is a two way street which runs from 1st street to 14th steet and is normally full of cars cruising up and down the street day and night. For the Art Deco Weekend Miami Beach closes Ocean Drive to all cars and it becomes a big walking street full of people and booths of all sizes with amazing art and crafts and all types of great food. The festival has many events, live concerts, activities and tours of the Miami Beach Art Deco District. The festivities go day and night and if you have kids they will have plenty to see and do. The Art Deco Weekend centers on the Art Deco arts and culture and is a three day event that has something for everyone.
