Cafenia located in Downtown Miami’s Wynwood Art District had an VIP cocktail reception event featuring photographer Jordan Michael Zuniga where he unveiled his provocative new portraits for PETA. The series Women In Cages presented portraits of Miami’s well know women in tiny cages wearing nothing but their birthday suits. The women in the portraits are Brooke Hogan, Ivette Naranjo, Katrina Campins, Pachi Lake, Tara Solomon, Michelle Pooch, Tracy Mourning, Ines Rivero, Elaine Lancaster and Heather Davis. The proceeds from the sales of the photographs are donated directly to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). The series is part of PETA’s I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur campaign and raises awareness about cruelty to animals.
The exhibition is on display at Cafeina from August 12 through September 10, 2011.
